Background
The solicitation is for a Design-Build, Request for Proposal (RFP), Solicitation No. W912QR24R0058, to provide design and construction services to upgrade existing facilities IT network infrastructure (250,000 SF) at the Philip H. Sheridan Army Reserve Center (ARC) campus in Fort Sheridan, Illinois. The project will include design of the facilities to meet current specifications to meet current IT infrastructure requirements. The Contract Duration is estimated at 610 calendar days from Notice to Proceed (NTP). The target ceiling for contract award for construction is approximately $2,200,000.00 based on the funds made available for this project.

Work Details
The objective of this solicitation is to repair the telecommunications infrastructure at the Ft. Sheridan Army Reserve Center (ARC) (IL131) in Ft. Sheridan, IL to meet United States Army Reserve Network Enterprise Center (ARNEC) criteria. The project will improve the Using Units ability to effectively implement their Army Reserve support and training missions. The project requires corrections of deficient telecommunications systems and components, repair-by-replacement of outdated systems, and installation of new telecommunications infrastructure and system components.
This installation is fully operational and currently in use by the Units’ full-time and Army Reserve personnel.
The contractor will coordinate, through the , with the Units so as not to interrupt Unit operations.
Work at the facility will affect 14 existing structures.

The Contract Duration is estimated at 610 calendar days from Notice to Proceed (NTP).
