Design-Build Repair of Fire-Damaged Motor Pool Garage

Background
The Regional Procurement Support Office (RPSO) Frankfurt is issuing Solicitation No. 19GE5026Q0095 for design-build services to repair the fire-damaged Motor Pool Garage at the U.S. Embassy Seoul, Republic of Korea.

The goal of this contract is to restore the facility to operational status through comprehensive repair and restoration efforts, which include architectural and engineering design, field verification, and preparation of construction documents.

Work Details
The work includes a variety of construction tasks such as:
- architectural and engineering design;
- field verification;
- preparation of construction documents;
- demolition;
- roof and structural repairs;
- installation or restoration of electrical systems;
- mechanical systems;
- plumbing systems;
- HVAC systems;
- lighting systems;
- compressed-air systems;
- and related building systems.

The contractor will be responsible for all costs necessary to complete the required work under a firm-fixed-price contract.

Period of Performance
The period of performance for this contract will commence upon issuance of the Notice to Proceed (NTP) and will continue until all work is completed as per the requirements outlined in the solicitation.

U.S. Embassy Seoul, Republic of Korea.

Bidder Requirements
Bidders must demonstrate their ability to obtain required contract surety in the form of separate Irrevocable Letters of Credit or other bonding. They must also provide evidence of prior experience in similar construction services completed on budget within the last five years, including project details such as title, location, customer, contract value, period of performance, description of work performed, and customer point-of-contact information.
