Design-Build Renovate Zenel Hajdini and Skenderbeu Schools, Kosovo   3

Background
The Naval Facilities Engineering Systems Command Europe Africa Central (NAVFAC EURAFCENT) is issuing a pre-solicitation notice for the Design-Build Renovate Zenel Hajdini and Skenderbeu Schools in Kosovo. This notice is for information and planning purposes only and does not constitute a commitment to issue a solicitation or award a contract. The project includes necessary design, construction, renovations, and repairs to the schools.

Work Details
The work is broken down into three Contract Line Items (CLINs). CLIN 0001 involves construction and renovation at Zenel Hajdini School, including new exterior insulated panel system, windows, doors, parapet flashing, gutters, downspouts, interior doors, flooring, patching and painting interior walls and ceilings, restroom renovation, and electrical system upgrade.
CLIN 0002 covers construction and renovation at Skenderbeu Primary School, including installing a French drain, concrete drainage swale, interior doors and frames replacement, floor replacement, staircase enhancements, wall and ceiling patching and painting, restroom renovation with new finishes, plumbing, water and sewer distribution, partitions replacement, lighting system replacement, radiator additions and replacements of all windows.
CLIN 0003 (Contract Option 1) involves wood flooring replacement in the gym/multipurpose room at Skenderbeu Primary School along with ductwork replacement and providing protection cage.

Place of Performance
The construction projects will be performed at Zenel Hajdini School in Tertrenik and Skenderbeu Primary School in Hogosht, Kosovo.
