Design-Build Maintenance and Repair Army Reserve (MRAR) Renovation of Army Reserve Center (ARC) Building 662 at BT Collins ARC, Sacramento, CA   3

Background
The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers is issuing this Request for Proposal (RFP) for the renovation of the existing Army Reserve Center (ARC), building 662, at the BT Collins ARC in Sacramento, California.

The goal of this project is to eliminate identified deficiencies and extend the economic life of the facility by 25 years. The renovated facility will comply with the Americans with Disabilities Act and meet minimum DOD Antiterrorism standards, while also adhering to various energy policies and sustainable building standards.

Work Details
The construction tasks under this contract include:
- repairing and replacing roofing, HVAC systems, electrical distribution, water distribution, fire alarm and suppression systems;
- reconfiguring interior layouts;
- installing new ceilings, windows, doors, floor coverings;
- applying interior and exterior finishes.

Additionally, exterior structural elements such as spalling concrete on beams will be repaired. The project will also involve removing failing components and ensuring all work complies with applicable codes and standards.

Period of Performance
The estimated period of performance for this contract is 740 calendar days from the Notice to Proceed (NTP).

Place of Performance
The construction projects will be performed at the BT Collins Army Reserve Center located in Sacramento, California.
