Background
The contract is issued by NAVFAC EURAFCENT for the design-build of a Dining Facility (DFAC) and Barracks at the Msata Military Training Base in Tanzania. The goal of this contract is to provide necessary infrastructure to support military operations and enhance living conditions for personnel stationed at the base.

Work Details
The contractor will be responsible for the complete design and construction of the DFAC and barracks, which includes site preparation, utility installation, building construction, and landscaping. Specific tasks include:
- Site development including grading and drainage
- Construction of a dining facility capable of serving military personnel
- Construction of barracks to house military personnel
- Installation of utilities such as water, electricity, and sewage systems
- Compliance with all applicable safety and environmental regulations
- Coordination with local authorities and adherence to local building codes.

Period of Performance
The contract will commence on July 31, 2026, with a performance period extending until June 5, 2028. The contractor is expected to begin work within 10 calendar days after receiving the notice to proceed and complete all work within 720 calendar days.
