Background
The solicitation is issued by NAVFAC Mid-Atlantic for a Design-Build/Design-Bid-Build, Indefinite Delivery/Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) Multiple Award Construction Contract (MACC) aimed at providing general construction services primarily for the Marine Corps Installations (MCI) East area of responsibility.

The goal of this contract is to award approximately five contracts to responsible offerors whose proposals represent the best value, ensuring that the selected contractors can effectively support the mission of NAVFAC Mid-Atlantic.

Work Details
The construction projects under this MACC will primarily involve general building type projects, which may be executed as either Design-Bid-Build or Design-Build.

The scope includes but is not limited to: new construction, demolition, repair, alteration, and renovation of buildings and infrastructure. Specific trades involved may include civil, structural, mechanical, electrical, fire protection, and communication systems.

Types of facilities covered include administrative buildings, industrial spaces, maintenance facilities, warehouses, hangars, communication centers, personnel support areas, recreational facilities, lodging accommodations, dormitories, medical facilities, and roads.

The initial 'seed project' involves constructing an SOF Armory building at MARSOC Complex in Camp Lejeune, North Carolina along with necessary site infrastructure improvements such as water distribution and parking lots.

Period of Performance
The period of performance for the IDIQ contracts is one year from the date of contract award with four additional one-year option periods available for a total duration not exceeding 60 months.

Place of Performance
The primary location for performance will be within NAVFAC Mid-Atlantic's Marine Corps Installations (MCI) East AOR; however, work may also extend to other areas within NAVFAC Mid-Atlantic's jurisdiction as deemed necessary.
