Design-Build/Design-Bid-Build (DB/DBB) Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) Multiple Award Construction Contract (MACC) for Various Projects in the Atsugi Area of Responsibility (AOR), Japan   4

Background
The Naval Facilities Engineering Systems Command, Far East (NAVFAC FE) is issuing a pre-solicitation notice for a Design-Build/Design-Bid-Build (DB/DBB) Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) Multiple Award Construction Contract (MACC) for Various Projects in the Atsugi Area of Responsibility (AOR), Japan. The contract will require all labor, management, supervision, tools, materials, equipment, and transportation necessary to perform various projects in the specified area.

Work Details
The proposed scope of work will be specified in each task order and may include office renovation, building demolition, built-in equipment repair/replacement, piping repair/replacement, pipe lagging, electrical work, mechanical work, road pavement, fencing, roofing, painting, site work, removal and disposal of material containing lead, paint with lead, cadmium, chromium (VI) and asbestos containing material, welding and masonry at the U.S. Naval Air Facility (NAF) Atsugi, Japan; U.S Marine Corps Combined Arms Training Center, Camp Fuji, Japan; and the U.S. Naval Auxiliary Landing Field, Kisarazu, Chiba. However, as needed, various other locations within the Kanto operational area, Japan may place orders against this MACC.

Period of Performance
The contract will have an eight-year ordering period consisting of a five-year base year ordering period and a three-year option ordering period.

Place of Performance
The construction projects will be performed in the Atsugi Area of Responsibility (AOR), Japan.
