PRE-PROPOSAL TELECONFERENCE

The Government will provide Offerors a pre-proposal teleconference and electronic copy of site photos and information for the project in lieu of physical site visit due to current RMI travel restrictions and quarantine requirements. The pre-proposal teleconference will take place virtually on Thursday, March 17 from 1100-1200 hours Hawaii Standard Time. Teleconference and/or WebEx information to follow.

Background
The U.S. Army Garrison, Kwajalein Atoll, Republic of Marshall Islands, has issued a Request for Proposal (RFP) for Phase 1 of Design-Build (DB) Repair Building 703 Zamperini Dining Facility and Building 808 Vehicle Maintenance Facility. The RFP aims to address the repair and construction needs of these facilities.

Work Details
The Statement of Work (SOW) includes detailed requirements for the construction tasks. This involves preparing a time impact analysis for each Government request for proposal (RFP) to justify time extensions, providing a description of the event(s) that caused the delay and/or impact to the work, and preparing a time impact analysis for approval by the Contracting Officer based on industry standard AACE 52R-06. It also includes preparing an analysis for approval by the Contracting Officer based on industry standard AACE 29R-03. Additionally, it outlines requirements for design analysis documentation that includes general parameters, functional and technical requirements, design objectives, design assumptions, and design calculations applicable to the project's design.
