Background
The Design-Build (DB) Barracks Initiative (Package #2) is being issued by the Marine Corps for the construction of new barracks facilities at Marine Corps Base (MCB) Camp Lejeune and Marine Corps Air Station (MCAS) New River, North Carolina.

The goal of this contract is to replace outdated bachelor enlisted quarters with modern facilities that will provide a total of 565 two-person rooms to accommodate 1,130 personnel. This initiative aims to enhance living conditions for service members and support the operational readiness of the Marine Corps.

Work Details
The project includes the demolition of five existing bachelor enlisted quarters buildings and the construction of new facilities as follows:
- At MCB Camp Lejeune Hadnot Point: Construct two three-story bachelor enlisted quarters buildings containing a total of 300 two-person rooms. Demolition of BEQs HP51, HP53, HP55, and HP57 is required. Community areas will include laundry facilities, vending areas, multi-purpose rooms, community kitchens, administrative offices, housekeeping areas, mechanical and electrical rooms, bulk storage, and public restrooms. A recreation shelter with amenities will also be included.

- At MCB Camp Lejeune French Creek: Construct one three-story bachelor enlisted quarters building with 85 two-person rooms. Demolition of BEQ AS4200 and support building AS4201 is required. Similar community and service core areas as above will be constructed.

- At MCAS New River: Construct one multi-story bachelor enlisted quarters building containing 180 two-person rooms. Demolition of BEQ 1340 and AS4024 (New River HIIT Center) is required. Community areas will mirror those at MCB Camp Lejeune.
