Background
The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, specifically the Louisville District, is issuing this Request for Proposal (RFP), Solicitation No. W912QR25RA012, for the repair and maintenance of the Area Maintenance Support Activity (AMSA), Building B-655, located at the BT Collins Army Reserve Center in Sacramento, California.

The primary goal of this contract is to repair failing facility components and construct an addition to address space deficiencies, thereby extending the economic life of the facility by 25 years and ensuring equipment readiness for Army Reserve units serviced by AMSA-98. This project emphasizes compliance with Unified Facilities Criteria and incorporates sustainability measures.

Work Details
The scope of work includes extensive repairs and upgrades to various building components and systems:
- Repairing Heating, Ventilation, and Air Conditioning (HVAC) systems.
- Upgrading electrical distribution systems.
- Overhauling water distribution systems.
- Installing fire alarm and suppression systems.
- Renovating ceilings, windows, doors, floor coverings, and interior finishes.
- Reconfiguring interior spaces to improve functionality.
- Repairing the exterior façade and finishes.

Additionally, all hazardous materials removed during demolition will be disposed of in accordance with state and federal guidelines. The design will ensure accessibility for disabled individuals and incorporate antiterrorism/force protection measures as well as sustainability/energy efficiency features.

Period of Performance
The estimated duration for contract performance is 740 calendar days from the Notice to Proceed (NTP).

The construction projects will be performed at the BT Collins Army Reserve Center located in Sacramento, California.
