Design-Build Construction for Horizontal Voice and Data Cabling

The contract is for design-build construction for new and upgraded horizontal and backbone cable distribution infrastructure and the subsequent replacement of all IT network, telephone, cable and closed caption television, and all other telecommunication system-cabling at Raven Rock Mountain Complex. The requirement was not available for competition. The Authority for other than full and open competition was FAR 6.302-5 Authorized or required by statute.

The SBA accepted the Agency offering as SBA Requirement Number KD1626393104V for sole source award to a Certified 8(a) small business concern in accordance with Section 8(a) of the Small Business Act (15 USC 637(a)(1)) and the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Part 19.8, and the executed Partnership Agreement (PA) between the U.S. Small Business Administration (SBA) and the Department of Defense. The 8(a) small business concern is tribally owned.
