Design-Build and Design-Bid-Build Indefinite-Delivery, Indefinite-Quantity Firm-Fixed-Price Multiple Award Construction Contract, Naval Facilities Engineering Command Southeast Area of Operations   2

Background
The solicitation is for a Design-Build (DB) and Design-Bid-Build (DBB) Firm-Fixed-Price (FFP), Indefinite-Delivery, Indefinite-Quantity (IDIQ) Multiple Award Construction Contract (MACC) for large general construction projects located in the NAVFAC SE Area of Operations. The contract will be performed over a period not to exceed five (5) years.

Work Details
The work to be performed consists of general building-type projects including new construction, renovation, alteration, demolition, and repair work. The projects will cover various types of facilities such as aviation and aircraft facilities, industrial facilities, barracks, administrative facilities, warehouses, training facilities, personnel support and service facilities, maintenance facilities, research facilities, commissaries/retail, medical facilities, waterfront facilities, and other similar types of facilities. The contract will utilize two-phase design-build selection procedures with up to ten separate contracts awarded for a maximum of 60 months and an aggregate maximum NTE amount of $1.999B for all contracts.

Period of Performance
The period of performance for the contract is not to exceed five (5) years.

Place of Performance
The construction projects will be performed in the NAVFAC SE Area of Operations which includes the States of Florida, Georgia, Louisiana, Mississippi, South Carolina, Tennessee and Texas.
