Background
The Naval Undersea Warfare Center (NUWC) is issuing this solicitation for the B-179 Deep Depth Test Facility (DDTF) Improvements Project at Newport Naval Station, Newport, RI. The project aims to enhance the capabilities of the facility in alignment with the agency's mission to support naval operations and research.

This contract is part of an Indefinite-Delivery/Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) Multiple Award Construction Contract (MACC) for facilities in the North Area of Responsibility, which includes several states in the northeastern United States.

Work Details
The scope of work includes various construction tasks such as:
1. Developing a Look Ahead schedule that identifies parent NAS activity numbers for each scheduled activity.
2. Weekly updates to the schedule showing planned work for the current and following two-week periods, including previous week’s actual start and finish dates.
3. Inclusion of upcoming outages, closures, preparatory meetings, testing and inspections, and commissioning milestones in the schedule.
4. Identification of longest path activities on the Weekly Look Ahead Schedule with a key or legend distinguishing these activities.
5. Responsibility assignment for each activity and maintenance of detail work plans in bar chart format on an electronic spreadsheet program printed on 11 by 17 inch sheets as directed.
6. Monthly Network Analysis updates to certify that submitted schedules meet contract requirements and represent the contractor's plan for accomplishing work, including submission of required tabular reports and native P6 XER files.

Period of Performance
The contract will be performed over a period extending until April 2025.
