DEPOT LEVEL REPAIR AND MAINTENANCE

OF AIRBORNE MINE COUNTERMEASURES (AMCM) SYSTEMS

(MK-105 Magnetic Minesweeping Gear)

NSWC PCD intends to conduct a Pre-Solicitation Conference at the La Quinta Inns & Suites located at 7115 Coastal Palms Blvd, Panama City Beach, Florida on Tuesday 6 December 2016 from 1:30 to 2:30 in support of the Depot Level Repair and Maintenance of the MK-105 Magnetic Minesweeping Gear.

All interested parties MUST notify their intent to participate. Send names and contact information for the number of personnel within your organization who will be attending to Ms. Tiphanie Spradlin, via e-mail: Tiphanie.spradlin@navy.mil no later than 4:00 p.m. CST, 28 November 2016.

SYNOPSIS for N61331-17-R-0003

The Naval Surface Warfare Center Panama City intends to procure on a competitive basis for Depot Level Repair and Maintenance of Airborne Mine Countermeasures (AMCM) Systems support. This acquisition is for depot level repair, overhaul, and modification of the MK-105 Magnetic Minesweeping Gear. The resultant contract is anticipated to be awarded as a Firm Fixed Price (FFP) Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) contract with a base period of 12 months and four (4) 12-month option periods, for a total of five years if all options are exercised. This is a follow-on to efforts conducted under Contract N61331-14-D-0002. The incumbent is EDO Corporation.

This requirement will be competed on a 100% small business set-aside basis. The NSWC PCD Small Business Office concurs with the set aside determination. Sources Sought Announcement N61331-16-TS-0001 was issued on 20 September 2016 with a closing date of 30 September 2016. The Navy invited both large and small businesses to respond. The Draft Statement of Work (SOW) was included with the Sources Sought Announcement. The capability statements submitted underwent a technical review and were all deemed technically capable.

The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 334511 with a small business size standard of 1,250 employees. The Product Service Code (PSC) for this requirement is J020 - Maintenance, Repair and Rebuilding of Equipment: Ship and Marine Equipment. It is anticipated that solicitation N61331-17-R-0003 will be available for download on or around January 2017. The solicitation will be made available electronically upon its release to FEDBIZOPPS, https://www.fbo.gov. Interested parties are solely responsible for monitoring the aforementioned website for postings of the solicitation and any amendments thereto.
