Description

Background
The U.S. Attorney's Office, District of Alaska, is seeking to procure Deposition Court Reporting Services as part of its mission to support legal proceedings. 2. Providing key word indexing for transcripts.
3. Creating exhibit copies as required.
4. Supplying videographer attendance and related fees for depositions.
5. Ensuring remote deposition capabilities with specific functionalities such as exhibit control and breakout rooms.

The contractor must also ensure that all personnel involved meet the qualifications outlined in the solicitation, including providing resumes for key personnel such as court reporters and videographers.

The contract will be performed over a base period from February 16, 2027, to February 15, 2028, with options for additional periods extending through February 15, 2030.

Place of Performance
Services will be performed primarily in Alaska; specific locations may vary based on deposition requirements.

Key personnel must include at least two court reporters and one videographer with relevant experience in similar projects. Resumes must demonstrate qualifications including education and security clearance levels.

Incumbent Analysis (see Incumbents section for more detail)
This opportunity appears to have a confirmed incumbent based on prior awards under 15JA0522D00000032, with Northern Lights Realtime & Reporting identified as the awardee for deposition and audio/video transcription services for the U.S. Attorney’s Office, District of Alaska. The prior work includes deposition court reporting/transcription primarily in Anchorage (within a 50-mile radius) and also covers grand jury and deposition services, which aligns closely with the current requirement to provide deposition transcripts (including multiple turnaround times), keyword indexing, exhibit copies, and videographer/remote deposition support. The continued performance period overlapping the current base/options suggests the new procurement may be a continuation of the same court reporting service needs.
