Background
The Department of the Interior (DOI) Office of Aviation Services (OAS) is seeking to procure a Continental factory remanufactured, zero total time engine (IO-550F-12B) for its Alaska Regional Office Fleet Maintenance. This acquisition is aimed at ensuring the operational readiness and maintenance of aircraft within the OAS fleet, specifically for Cessna 206G aircraft converted to use the Continental IO-550F engine. Work Details
The contract involves the delivery of one Continental factory rebuilt, zero total time engine (IO-550F-12B). The engine must include dual impulse coupled magnetos, a large 7.88” de-congealing oil cooler (P/N 654595), a 24-volt starter, a four-point engine mount, and a spin-on oil filter. The engine will be delivered with a manufacturer warranty covering all shipping costs and core exchange credit. The core engine will be sent back to the contractor after receiving the rebuilt engine.
