Description

Naval Air Systems Command (NAVAIR) has a requirement to procure varying quantities of AN/AAQ-24 Department of Navy (DoN) Large Aircraft Infrared Countermeasures (LAIRCM) hardware, engineering (hardware/software), program management, configuration management, test and other engineering support as required. The hardware procurement includes the following:

  • Control Indicator Unit Replacements (CIURs)
  • DoN LAIRCM Processors (DLP)
  • Infrared (IR) Missile Warning System (MWS) Sensors
  • Advanced Threat Warning (ATW) Sensors
  • Multi-Role Electro-Optical End-To-End Test Sets (MEONs)
  • Guardian Laser Transmitter Assemblies (GLTAs)
  • GLTA JPACS (shipping containers)
  • High Capacity Cards (HCCs)
  • Smart Connector Assemblies (SCAs)
  • Personal Computer Memory Cards, International Association (PCMCIAs)
    This effort is being solicited on a sole source basis under NAVAIR solicitation N0001922R0001 to Northrop Grumman Systems Corporation, Mission Systems Sector, Land and Avionics C4ISR Division (NGSC), in accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulation 6.302-1. NGSC is the sole developer, producer, and depot repair facility for the DoN LAIRCM system used by the United States Government.
