Department of Education Post-Secondary Internship Program

The United States (U.S.) Department of Education (DoED/ED), Office of Acquisitions & Grants Administration (OAGA) requires Student Interns to serve in multiple capacities within the Department. To meet departmental requirements, ED is hosting the OAGA Internship Program. The OAGA Internship Program will provide College Students with educational work experience in ED programs and activities. Interaction with the participants in this program will further assist in ED's efforts of engaging students for employment in the Federal government. Although the program is sponsored by OAGA, the vehicle will be available to all officed within DoED. Specifically, the Department seeks to expand recruitment in populations that are underrepresented in the demographics of Federal employees. DoED requires a contractor to focus on Minority Serving Institutions (MSI) such as Historically Black Colleges and Universities (HBCU), Hispanic Serving Institutions (HSI), and Tribal Colleges and Universities (TCU), amongst others. Additionally, the Contractor shall also assist with recruitment in other underrepresented demographics such as minority veteran students. DoED anticipates the award of a multiple-award Blanket Purchase Agreement (BPA) under GSA Schedule MAS category 541612HC and sub-function A.1.4 Diversity and Inclusion. This acquisition is conducted pursuant to Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Subpart 8.4 "Federal Supply Schedules" and restricted to active GSA Schedule holders only.
