In preparation for the upcoming Department of Education's (Department) recompete of the National Assessment of Education (NAEP) Alliance contract, the Department is inviting vendors to an industry day session. This session will provide information regarding the program office, Institute of Education Sciences (IES) expectations, overview of each NAEP Task Component, guidlines and open Q&A.

Background
In preparation for the upcoming Department of Education's (Department) recompete of the National Assessment of Education (NAEP) Alliance contract, the Department is inviting vendors to an industry day session. This session will provide information regarding the program office, Institute of Education Sciences (IES) expectations, overview of each NAEP Task Component, guidelines and open Q&A.

Work Details
The Department of Education is recompeting the National Assessment of Educational Progress (NAEP) Alliance contract. The contract is a cost-reimbursement contract paid via submitted invoices each billing cycle as established within the contract award. Prime contractors will need to service all 50 states and surrounding territories. The incumbent contractor for Distribution, Materials, & Processing has a contract number 91990019C0049, with a value of $91,997,25.00. The NAEP Web and Application Support, NAEP Platform Development, and other components are existing contracts found under specific contracts with their respective contract numbers and values. The Department is working on developing a contract structure to enhance competition and will post a draft of the SOO(s) this fall, including a proposed draft of the contract structure.

Period of Performance
The period of performance for the new NAEP contracts will be from 2024 to 2029.
