Background
The Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) is contracting for the repavement of the South Parking Lot located at the Federal Aviation Administration’s Denver Terminal Radar Control Center (TRACON), 26705 East 68th Avenue, Denver, Colorado 80249-6361, located approximately 2 miles south of the Denver International Airport Terminal. The project involves removing existing 4-6 inches of asphalt, compacting and grading existing sub-base, applying 6 inches of new asphalt pavement, and repainting all stalls and miscellaneous pavement markings. The approximate area is 52,500 square feet.

Work Details
The Contractor is responsible for furnishing all labor, products, equipment, materials, and supervision for repavement. They will also provide insurance, bonds, licenses, permits, and fees as per applicable federal, state or local regulatory requirements to complete the specified work. The work shall be coordinated with the FAA and be accomplished on a 'Not to interfere with FAA operations' basis.
Construction materials shall be stored only in FAA approved areas. Construction staging shall be allowed only in FAA approved areas. The Contractor shall provide all temporary services required for construction, including portable bathroom facilities and construction warning signs. They are also responsible for cleaning up and restoring the driveway entrance and parking areas affected by the repavement operation on a daily basis.
