Dental Digital Imaging Refresh and Maintenance   2

This is a requirement for the refresh of the dental digital imaging (DDI) solutions at Navy Dental Facilities and their branch clinics. Army and Air Force Dental Commands (and associated branch clinics) may also purchase DDI equipment and maintenance services off of a resultant contract. A DDI refresh is an integrated system of hardware and software. The DDI equipment refresh could include the replacement of Dell servers and computers workstations, barcode scanners CD/DVD publishing stations, x-ray sensors, and some intra-oral and extra oral dental x-ray machines. The hardware may have an end of life longer than the server and software and orders may be placed at a later date for the scanners, sensors, etc. Therefore, the software must be Apteryx as it would cost the Government significantly more money to replace all equipment that is still functioning and has not expired. The specific computer hardware and software for this requirement must be provided to the site for hardening according to the Commands accreditation documentation. The vendor shall be an Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) authorized dealer, authorized distributor or authorized reseller for all the proposed equipment/software such that OEM warranty and service are provided and maintained by the OEM. All software licensing, warranty and maintenance services associated with the equipment/system shall be in accordance with the OEM terms and conditions.
