Demolition and Abatement IDIQ- Plains Area- North   4

Background
The solicitation is for a Demolition and Abatement IDIQ contract in the Plains Area- North. The work will involve the abatement and management of hazardous waste, including asbestos and lead paint, in buildings used as general research laboratories from 1900 to present. The work will be issued per individual Task Order using a Statement of Work or Performance Work Statement. The project requirements must meet the specifications outlined in ARS Policy and Procedure (P&P) ARS-242.1M and Unified Facility Guide Specifications (UFGS).

Work Details
The project consists of furnishing all plant, labor, equipment, materials, and transportation required for the demolition and abatement work. It may also include backfilling foundation areas with suitable fill, grading and seeding, and possible ancillary new construction or repair work as required per Task Order. The contractor must provide a Professional Engineer or Registered Architect registered in the State where work is being performed to perform and seal all required Design Analysis and Drawings. Additionally, projects requiring fall protection systems for demolition will need a professional structural engineer registered in the State where work is being performed to analyze the existing structure and design the required fall protection systems.
