Description

This is a synopsis of contract award in accordance with FAR 5.301. The Naval Air Systems Command (NAVAIR) has awarded a Firm-Fixed-Price and a Cost-Plus Fixed Fee Delivery Order, N0001925F0210, under the Basic Ordering Agreement N0001921G0006 to The Boeing Company, 6200 J.S. McDonnell Blvd, Saint Louis, MO 63166, using authority FAR Subpart 6.302-1, only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements. NAVAIR procured 523 Cabin Pressure and On-Board Oxygen Generation System Monitoring System retrofit kits for the F/A-18 E/F, EA-18G, and F/A-18 C/D aircraft. This Delivery Order includes a base period with three options. The award total, inclusive of options, was $36,507,493.58. The contract duration is 31 March 2026 through 31 October 2030. The Boeing Company is the sole vendor qualified to build CPOMS kits and is the only vendor with the requisite expertise, tooling, and existing production line to manufacture CPOMS kits that conform to the F/A-18 aircraft operational requirements.
