Description

Delivering Unmatched Thermal Capabilities Hastened (DUTCH)
Standards Compliant Camera (SCC) Interface Control Document (ICD)
Request for Information (RFI)

Background:

The US Army C5ISR Center created and approved a Standards Compliant Camera (SCC) Interface Control Document (ICD) in March of 2019. The SCC ICD defines a common interface that applies to Standards Compliant Low-Light-Level, Thermal, and SWIR Cameras. The SCC ICD provides common I2C Protocols, Registers, Environmental, Electrical Interfaces. The mechanical drawings/interfaces will be reviewed later but any feedback on desired envelope or mechanical constraints can be provided.

C5ISR is issuing a Request for Information (RFI) from relevant industry partners to provide feedback on the SCC ICD. This RFI is requesting a response with feedback and comments on the draft SCC ICD in the form of a Comment Response Matrix (CRM). Interested stakeholders and industry partners must request access to the SCC ICD through this RFI (details in Requested Information, Section 2). The C5ISR center may also, in reply to responses, request a Technical Interchange Meeting (TIM) to discuss comments provided on the SCC ICD.

Once the RFI is made available to relevant stakeholders the goal is to have feedback to government within 30 days. The following month, after comments are received by the government, there may be a request for a TIM to follow up on comments placed in CRM.

Requested Information:

The C5ISR Center requests a response to the SCC ICD in the form of a Comment Response Matrix (CRM).
