Background
The Defense Logistics Agency (DLA) Troop Support is issuing this solicitation to support medical gas requirements at Medical Treatment Facilities (MTFs) and Dental Treatment Facilities (DTFs) located within the Contiguous United States (CONUS), Alaska, Hawaii, and Puerto Rico.

The goal of this contract is to ensure a reliable supply of various types of cylinder-compressed medical gases, which are essential for medical operations.

Work Details
The primary requirements of this acquisition include:
- Refilling bulk medical gas tanks.
- Providing cylinders filled with various types of cylinder-compressed medical gases, including but not limited to:
- Oxygen
- Carbon Dioxide
- Nitrogen
- Nitrous Oxide
- Helium
- Hydrogen
- Argon
- Specialty gas mixtures.

The contract will involve both Primary Vendor and Back-Up Vendor roles, with specific responsibilities outlined for each. Vendors must meet minimum requirements regarding the purity and types of gases provided, as well as delivery capabilities across designated regions. The solicitation also includes maximum contract values per region and guaranteed minimum order quantities.

Period of Performance
The term of the contracts awarded will be a five (5) year base period with an option to extend for an additional two (2) years.

Place of Performance
The services will be performed at Medical Treatment Facilities (MTFs) and Dental Treatment Facilities (DTFs) located within the Contiguous United States (CONUS), Alaska, Hawaii, and Puerto Rico.
