Defense Innovation Onramp Hubs for Kentucky, Montana, and Minnesota

Background
The Defense Innovation Unit (DIU) is seeking information on organizations that can serve as delivery partners running state-focused Defense Innovation OnRamp Hubs in Kentucky, Montana, or Minnesota.

The goal of these hubs is to lower the barriers to entry for non-traditional, dual-use, and commercial technology companies to work with the Department of Defense (DoD).

DIU aims to strengthen the defense innovation base by maintaining a regional presence to tap into commercial technology ecosystems across the country. Each hub will provide a physical presence and infrastructure to support DIU's activities and foster collaboration between the DoD, commercial companies, academia, and government agencies.

Work Details
The selected hubs will be responsible for:
1) Providing a physical presence and infrastructure to support DIU's activities in the state;
2) Fostering collaboration and partnerships between the DoD, commercial companies, academia, and government agencies;
3) Identifying and transitioning commercial technologies that can address defense challenges;
4) Supporting DIU's outreach and engagement activities in Kentucky, Montana, or Minnesota.

Desired capabilities include: Ecosystem Building to grow defense innovation ecosystems; Physical Location for mentoring and events; Strategic Impact Projects for leveraging local innovation; Transition Services including technology evaluations and cybersecurity support; Outreach and Engagement as an industry focal point; Programming and Events for education on lowering barriers; Mission Partner Support for DoD intrapreneurs; Access to R&D or T&E capabilities; Executive team with strong local influence.

Period of Performance
The contract will be performed over a period as determined by project needs.

Place of Performance
The contract will be performed in Kentucky, Montana, or Minnesota.
