Decking Hardware & Lumber Material Procurement Package for Saylorville Lake Visitor Center   3

Background
The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers (USACE) is issuing a solicitation for a firm-fixed-price contract to procure decking hardware and lumber materials for the Saylorville Lake Visitor Center. The goal of this contract is to furnish, package, label, and deliver specified materials that meet industry standards and specifications.

Work Details
The contractor shall supply the following items in the exact quantities listed, with no substitutions permitted without prior written approval:

1. Structural Connectors & Hardware:
- 32 – SUL210Z Skewed Single Joist Hanger
- 32 – SUR210Z Skewed Single Joist Hanger
- 240 – LUS210Z Single Joist Hanger
- 24 – HUCQ412Z-SDSG Concealed Flange Face-Mount Hanger (must include all required SDS screws)
- 80 – Titen HD 5/8” x 6” Anchors
- 40 – 5/8” Galvanized Flat Washers
- 8 – GJH1125P 1-1/2” Galvanized Joist Hanger Nail – 5 lb boxes

2. Lumber – Treated Southern Yellow Pine (SYP):
All treated lumber must be #1 or #2 grade SYP as specified, ground-contact rated, and pressure-treated per AWPA UC4A or higher:
- 120 – 2” x 12” x 16’ #1 SYP Treated – Ground Contact
- 11 – 2” x 12” x 20’ #1 SYP Treated – Ground Contact
- 400 – 2” x 6” x 16’ #2 SYP Treated – Ground Contact
- 32 – 2” x 8” x 20’ #2 SYP Treated – Ground Contact
- 800 – 2”x2” x 4’ Baluster #1 SYP Treated- Ground Contact
- 25 – 4”x4” x 10’ #1 SYP Treated-Ground Contact

3. Glu-Lam Beams:
Beams must be treated for exterior exposure and rated for structural load-bearing applications:
- 8 – 32’ x 3-1/2” x 11-7/8” R/L Treated Glu-Lam Beam
- 3 – 20’ x 3-1/2” x 11-7/8” R/L Treated Glu-Lam Beam

4. Fasteners & Specialty Screws:
- 8 – BTX9318 Bronze Star Screws in bulk containers (23.8 lb)

5. Protective Tape:
- 16 – Super Seal Joist Tape (4” x 50’) (Protecto-Wrap)
- 56 – Super Seal Joist Tape (2” x50’) (Protecto-Wrap)
All materials must comply with applicable industry standards including AWPA, ASTM, and manufacturer requirements.

Period of Performance
Delivery is required within FOB Destination: Within 14 days of contract award.

Place of Performance
The delivery location is the Saylorville Lake Visitor Center, located at:
8250 NW Horseshoe Rd, Ankeny, Iowa, USA.
