Background
Rock Island Arsenal is conducting market research to identify vendors capable of providing a de-burring machine. This initiative aims to gather information from qualified vendors regarding their capabilities and business classifications. The agency seeks to ensure compliance with various national standards and specifications relevant to the equipment being procured.

Work Details
The contract involves the provision of a de-burring system that must adhere to several national standards and specifications, including OSHA, ASTM, ASME, ANSI, NEMA, EIA, IEEE, AWS, AGMA, NFPA-70, NFPA-79, and ISO. Key requirements include:
- The equipment must be a standard product of the manufacturer with minimal design changes allowed.
- Dimensions and capacities should be in the English-US system.
- A main data plate must include essential information such as Manufacturer Name, Model Number, Serial Number, and Contract Number.
- All instruction plates must be made of corrosion-resistant materials with permanent lettering in English.
- The contractor is responsible for registering the equipment in the IUID Registry and affixing a 2-D matrix for tracking.
- Equipment should have a single point shut-off for each utility supplied and must be clearly labeled.
- Rock Island Arsenal will provide necessary connections for electrical power (460-V, 60-Hz) and compressed air (approximately 80-psi) up to the point of first connection.
