The attached RFP is for Brand Name Cisco Enterprise Infrastructure & Advanced Engineering Support Agreement (CEIAESA). This RFP is a draft however it is not anticipated to change and the formal release is anticipated imminently. VA anticipates that the final RFQ will have a due date of September 19, 2024. Please find the attached draft RFP please provide any questions to matthew.newell@va.gov and evan.lee@va.gov and please be prepared to submit a proposal when the final RFP comes out.
Background
The Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) is issuing a Request for Proposal (RFP) for the Cisco Enterprise Infrastructure & Advanced Engineering Support Agreement (CEIAESA). This contract aims to provide comprehensive support services for Cisco infrastructure, enhancing the VA's technological capabilities to better serve veterans.

The anticipated final RFQ will be released imminently, with a due date expected on September 19, 2024.

Work Details
The contractor will be responsible for various tasks as outlined in the Performance Work Statement (PWS), including but not limited to:
1. Project Management: Develop and maintain a Contractor Project Management Plan, conduct monthly status reporting, and manage program meetings.
2. Cisco Infrastructure Support Services: Provide technical assistance, advanced hardware replacement, troubleshooting tools, and focused technical support services.
3. Inventory Management: Implement an asset management and tracking tool, conduct inventory reporting and reconciliation.
4. Advanced Engineering Services: Deliver engineering services including roles such as Enterprise Datacenter Engineer, Voice Engineer, and Network Engineer.
5. Security Vulnerability Reporting: Monthly security vulnerability reports and immediate reporting upon critical vulnerabilities.
6. Training Documentation: Provide training certificates and documentation for elevated permissions training annually.

Period of Performance
The contract will have a base period of performance of 12 months from the date of award, with options for additional periods as specified in the solicitation.

Place of Performance
The work will primarily be performed at the Department of Veterans Affairs Technology Acquisition Center located at 23 Christopher Way, Eatontown NJ 07724.
