DDSP Overhead Speed Door Purchase and Installation

Background
The Defense Logistics Agency (DLA) is issuing this solicitation for the purchase and installation of an overhead door at the Defense Distribution Center in Susquehanna, PA. The goal of this contract is to replace an existing high-speed door with a new RYTEC PredaDoor NXT High-Speed Rolling Door, ensuring operational efficiency and safety at the facility.

Work Details
The contractor shall provide equipment, materials, and labor to install a new 10’ 0” Wide x 14’ 8” High RYTEC PredaDoor NXT High-Speed Rolling Door. The installation must include:
- Power requirements: 460V, 3-Phase (connect to existing safety switch)
- Three-phase variable speed AC drive motor with dynamic braking and absolute encoder with exterior motor cover
- NEMA 4 rated controller with self-diagnostic capabilities with LCD display and programmable inputs/outputs
- Installation of two new loop detector sets with exterior control station and an On/Off selector switch on the interior control box
- Installation of one Liftmaster LMSC1000 Long-Range Reader to operate with door controller
- Adjustable limit switches from floor level at control panel
- 71oz, 2-Ply Rylon panel material
- Slant Hood Cover to fit new door with additional wind rib
- Breakaway bottom bar that releases in either direction without damaging door assemblies
- Travel speed for opening at up to 50 inches per second. The contractor is also responsible for removing and disposing of the existing high-speed door.

Period of Performance
The period of performance for this contract is from April 30, 2025, to May 31, 2025.

Place of Performance
The work will be performed at DLA Distribution Warner Robins, located at 455 Byron Street Bldg 376, Robins AFB, GA 31098-1887.
