Description

The Naval Sea Systems Command (NAVSEA) has awarded contract N00024-23-C-2324 to Huntington Ingalls Industries, Ingalls Shipbuilding Division (HII) in support of the USS ZUMWALT (DDG 1000) and USS MICHALE MONSOOR (DDG 1001) Modernization Period Planning requirements. Modernization Period Planning requirements includes, but is not limited to, planning, engineering, and management, as required, to plan and sequence the DDG 1000 and 1001 Modernization. This contract award is pursuant to 10 U.S.C 2304(c)(1). The contract is not fixed price. The uncertainties involved in contract performance do not permit costs to be estimated with sufficient accuracy to use any type of fixed-price contract.
