Relocation of Sensitive Equipment in Data Centers - Oracle Health Server Racks (VA-25-00022385)   2

Background
The Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) is issuing this solicitation for commercial services to provide relocation services for Oracle Health Forward Deployed Solution Sets (FDSS). The Veterans Health Administration (VHA) Healthcare Environmental and Facilities Program (HEFP) aims to facilitate the relocation of sensitive equipment in data centers, specifically Oracle Health server racks, to support ongoing construction activities within VA Medical Centers. This contract is intended to ensure that the relocation aligns with construction schedules and maintains operational readiness.

Work Details
The contractor shall provide 'white glove' relocation services, which include:

1. Consultation, planning, and coordination with VA Medical Center Facilities Management Service (FMS) and Office of Information Technology (OIT).

2. Disconnecting and disassembling FDSS at the current location, followed by rack/stack, connection, testing, and operationalization at the new location.

3. Providing all necessary labor, materials, and equipment for moving Oracle Health FDSS cabinets, servers, and associated equipment.

4. Coordination with FMS and OIT before physically moving any heavy loads.

5. Issuing an FDSS Equipment Connection Acceptance Memo upon completion of the move.

6. Collaborating with FMS and OIT to identify scheduling constraints and maintain IT operational readiness.

7. Providing a Data Center Layout and description of Planned Move Events no later than 60 days prior to the required move date.

Period of Performance
The period of performance for this contract will be from the date of award through a base period of twelve months, with four additional twelve-month option periods.

Place of Performance
Tasks will be performed at various VA Medical Centers across the United States, including Alaska, Hawaii, Guam, and other remote locations as needed.
