Dc Shop Roof Replacement

Background
The Department of Homeland Security, specifically the United States Coast Guard, is issuing this contract for the replacement of the roof at the Sector Field Office in Moriches, New York.

The goal of this contract is to ensure the integrity and functionality of the facility's roofing system, which is essential for maintaining operations and protecting assets.

Work Details
The contractor shall provide all labor, materials, and equipment necessary to complete the following tasks:

1. Remove existing roof;
2. Remove plywood;
3. Install new ½” plywood over tongue and groove;
4. Install new Ice water shield for edges, valleys, vents, and chimney;
5. Install under protection paper;
6. Install fiberglass base sheet with new drip edge installed with cement screws;
7. Install Protective wrap;
8. Install 2 roof vents with extensions;
9. Install new Flat roof with heating system;
10. Seal all openings;

For the chimney:
11. Seal and install adaptor for a 13” x 13” cap;
12. Install Stainless steel chimney caps (8” X 8” and 13” X 13”);
13. Install chimney Crown;
14. Clean and dispose of debris.
