DAYTON NATIONAL CEMETERY: PIC/Admin Bldg, Repair Roads, & Replace Committal Shelter B   4

This sources sought announcement is to conduct market research for the Department of Veterans Affairs (VA), National Cemetery Administration which is seeking Service Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business (SDVOSB) construction contractors to perform the below construction services at Dayton National Cemetery:

GENERAL CONSTRUCTION: The contractor will provide all labor, material, and equipment necessary to construct the work as shown on the plans and described in the specifications. Work of the contract includes but not limited construction of new PIC/Admin building, construction of Honor Guard/Maintenance Annex building; renovation of the Maintenance building; roadway repair and reconstruction; construction of new cortege lanes and replacement; replacement of Committal Shelter B; and all other work necessary to construct the improvements as shown and described on the contract documents. The contractor will have five hundred and seventy (570) calendar days to complete the work from the date of the Notice to Proceed (NTP).

The magnitude of construction is estimated to be between $10,000,000 and $20,000,000.

All interested contractors are encouraged to submit a capabilities package in response to this sources sought announcement no later than July 27th, 2023 by 2:00 PM (Central Time) via email to daniel.kinney@va.gov with the Subject Line insert PN: 810CM3030 Dayton (Company's Name).

Capabilities packages should include the following and be no more than four pages in length:

Business name, address, and small business type

A positive statement of your intention to submit a bid in response to a possible solicitation for this requirement.

A brief explanation of past performance or current contracts which clearly articulates the ability to perform the services described above.
