Description

This project will include the construction of a new Admin/PIC building and Honor Guard/Maintenance building, renovation of the administration and maintenance building to address facility condition assessment (FCA) deficiencies, repair of roads and pavements, new cortege staging lanes, and the replacement of the Committal Service Shelter B per the attached construction documents and specifications.

Background
The project involves the construction of a new Admin/PIC building, Honor Guard/Maintenance building, renovation of administration and maintenance buildings, repair of roads and pavements, new cortege staging lanes, and replacement of the Committal Service Shelter B at Dayton National Cemetery. The project aims to address facility condition assessment (FCA) deficiencies and is governed by the Department of Veterans Affairs, National Cemetery Administration.

Work Details
The construction work includes but is not limited to the construction of new PIC/Admin building, construction of Honor Guard/Maintenance Annex building, renovation of the Maintenance building, roadway repair and reconstruction, construction of new cortege lanes and replacement, replacement of Committal Shelter B. The contractor is required to provide all labor, material, and equipment necessary to construct the work as shown on the construction documents and described in the specifications.

Period of Performance
The contract period includes a base period with a specific start and end date for the performance. Additionally, there is an option for new asphalt paving and asphalt pavement mill and overlay at the satellite maintenance storage yard with its own period of performance.

Place of Performance
The project will be performed at Dayton National Cemetery.
