The permit aims to provide high-quality public services in operation and maintenance of government-owned recreation facilities located on the Daniel Boone National Forest.

Work Details
The work includes maintaining roads, trash collection, host site management, vault toilet maintenance, fire restrictions, campground flooding, beach area management, boat moorings, lake information, fishing tournaments, campground labeling, winterization of water systems, picnic table standards, boat ramp passes, road maintenance requirements, water leak issues, black bear interaction reporting process, flash flood history, boat ramp courtesy dock installation, hazard tree mitigation, minimum operating season requirements and adjustments due to the new minimum wage for federal contractors.

The geographic locations where the contract will be performed include the Daniel Boone National Forest - London Ranger District campgrounds such as White Oak Boat-In Campground, Craigs Creek Group Use Area, Rockcastle Campground and Holly Bay Campground.
