Dallas TX MEPS Noon Meals   2

Background
The Mission Installation Contracting Command - Knox is issuing a Request for Quotation (RFQ) to provide boxed noon meals for Armed Forces applicants processing through the Dallas, TX Military Entrance Processing Station (MEPS).

The MEPS is responsible for administering aptitude tests, medical examinations, and administrative processing of applicants. The goal of this contract is to ensure that applicants receive nutritious meals during their processing at the MEPS.

Work Details
The contractor shall provide boxed meals for Armed Forces applicants at the Dallas MEPS located at 207 South Houston Street, #400, Dallas, Texas 75202-4709.

Responsibilities include: preparing meals in a licensed facility, transporting and serving boxed meals as requested by the contracting officer or authorized representative. The contractor must comply with health and safety standards and maintain records of inspections. Meals will be served Monday through Friday, excluding legal holidays and training days, with a maximum of 28 Saturdays annually. Each boxed meal must include a sandwich (variety of meats or veggie), lettuce, tomato, chips, cookie, apple, straw, and napkin. Additional requirements include providing beverages such as carbonated soft drinks and water. The contractor must ensure cleanliness of the dining area post-service and manage meal vouchers for accounting purposes.

Period of Performance
The period of performance begins on 1 October 2025 or the date of contract award, whichever is later, and continues through 30 September 2026 with two one-year option periods.
