Background
The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers – Southwestern Fort Worth District is seeking to solicit and award a construction contract for the Hampton Three Pump Station project located in Dallas, Texas.

The goal of this contract is to construct a new interior drainage pump station that will enhance flood control measures in the area. This sources sought notice aims to gather information on the interest, capabilities, and qualifications of various industries, including small businesses and those from historically underutilized business zones.

Work Details
The scope of work for the Hampton 3 project includes:
- Construction of a new pump station featuring five concrete volute pumps, each discharging into its own 84-inch steel discharge pipe.
- Installation of discharge pipes that will traverse over the levee and discharge into a new outfall canal in the Trinity River Floodway.
- Development of supporting infrastructure including a loading dock, monitoring station, trash grates, mechanical and electrical rooms.
- Installation of water, wastewater, electrical distribution systems, control systems, protection systems, instrumentation, grounding, and communications infrastructure at the facility.
- Utility relocations and coordination as well as channel relocation.
- Care and diversion of water during construction activities.
- Excavation and embankment work along with levee construction.
- Structural concrete work including drilled piers and reinforced box culverts.
- Maintenance of stormwater flow to adjacent pump stations during construction to prevent adverse water elevations upstream.
- Implementation of Temporary Flood Protection (TFP) measures such as cofferdams and continuous dewatering wells in case of flood events.
