Riverbed Hardware/Software Maintenance And Posting of the J&A

The Department of Veterans Affairs Office of Information Technology (OIT), Development, Security, and Operations (DevSecOps), Solution Delivery (SD), has a requirement for Riverbed hardware and software maintenance and technical support for its Enterprise-Wide Area Network (WAN) Acceleration and Application Delivery solution. The Riverbed WAN acceleration architecture enables VA to leverage its existing network resources and to meet its ever-growing business demands by assuring enough bandwidth and compression of rising data transport. VA's Riverbed WAN Acceleration architecture is in the process of being decommissioned. By September of 2022, VA s OIT will have identified all remaining Riverbed components requiring coverage until decommissioning is complete. Until that time, hardware and software maintenance and technical support for the VA s Riverbed WAN Acceleration infrastructure are necessary to ensure a more resilient, efficient, and fault-tolerant business network that continues to enable a variety of IT initiatives and technologies that directly benefit and enhance Veteran services. Performance is September 30, 2022, through March 29, 2023, with four six-month option periods, and each performance period shall include options for increased quantities. If an optional quantity is exercised during a given performance period, the performance period for that optional quantity shall be the same as the performance period within which it is exercised.
