MEDIA ASSEST MANAGEMENT 2.0

Background
The Department of Veterans Affairs, Program Contracting Activity Central, St. Louis, MO intends to solicit quotes from contractors for a Firm Fixed Priced Media Asset Management Upgrade contract. The VHA Employee Education System (EES) provides educational video programming for VA employees and for veterans. These educational programs support Veterans Health Administration (VHA) facilities’ ability to stay abreast of the latest changes in treatment modalities, techniques, and regulations. The use of live and recorded video enables a much larger percentage of the VHA workforce to receive technical and professional training on a recurring basis.

Work Details
The Contractor shall provide all labor, equipment, supervision, and other resources required to deploy an Avid MediaCentral Asset Management system. The Media Central Asset Management system will be an upgrade to the two existing EES MediaCentral Production Management systems and will integrate with the existing Avid equipment and IP networks. The contractor shall provide project management support and workflow design for this project at VA locations in St. Louis, Missouri and in Salt Lake City, Utah.
The contractor shall also provide a transcoding system that meets the PWS’ salient characteristics and that is configured for Avid MediaCentral Asset Management API Connectors. Additionally, the contractor shall provide OEM-approved system commissioning and administration training.

Period of Performance
The anticipated period of performance will begin September 30, 2021 and the period of performance shall be for one (1) year after contract award.

Place of Performance
Work shall be performed at the VA Medical Center at 1 Jefferson Barracks Drive, Building 56, St. Louis, MO and at the Wallace F. Bennett Federal Building, 125 South State Street, Suite 2222, Salt Lake City, UT 84138.
