The statutory authority permitting other than full and open competition is 41 U.S.C.3304(a)(1) as implemented by the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Subpart 6.302-1 entitled, Only One Responsible Source and No Other Supplies or Services Will Satisfy Agency Requirements. Clinical Architecture is hereby awarded contract number 36C10G25C0003 on a brand-name, sole-source basis for Clinical Terminology and Management services which provides vendor managed service which will include subscriptions/licensing services for five unnamed logins, the use of the terminology management platform, terminology mapping engine, value set authoring, and the web-based toolset for distributing the tasks of maintaining, reviewing, and updating clinical terminology mappings or value sets.
