CPE Tools - BMC Helix - SaaS (VA-24-00057862)

Background
The Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) Technology Acquisition Center (TAC) is issuing a Request for Information (RFI) to determine Contractor’s capabilities in executing the requirements of the attached DRAFT Product Description (PD). The RFI is for conducting market research and does not constitute a Request for Proposal (RFP) or a promise to issue a RFP in the future. The VA is seeking a Brand Name or Equivalent solution to the tasks laid out in the attached draft PD. The current market research indicates that BMC Helix SaaS meets the requirements; however, additional capable solutions are being sought in the interest of competition.

Work Details
The contractor is required to provide a capability statement and answers to a list of questions regarding their company’s capabilities and experience supporting federal agencies in providing a Software as a Service (SaaS) product, including examples of federal experience implementing their SaaS product. They are also required to detail any interfacing or custom development that their SaaS product requires ahead of go-live, describe their pricing model, technical support capabilities, help desk services, system availability, and training provided with the system.
Additionally, they need to describe how their SaaS solution manages Government Data, the Identity and Access Management process, data flow to/from VA on-premises and VA AWS and Azure cloud environments, encryption mechanisms used for data in transit and at rest, dashboarding capability, predictive modeling capabilities, historical data storage, and support for product configuration with a SaaS subscription.

Period of Performance
The period of performance shall not exceed 12 months for each base period and option period.
