Background
The Department of Veterans Affairs (VA), Veterans Health Administration (VHA) aims to provide high-quality, effective, and efficient Information Technology (IT) services to support the care of Veterans. Real Time Location System (RTLS) technology is used to determine the location of tagged assets, improve clinical workflow, and speed up annual inventory at VA medical facilities.

Work Details
The Contractor is required to provide services, hardware, and software to enable VHA to procure solutions and technical expertise across the suite of CenTrak® RFID/RTLS enabling technologies to support the needs at individual VA medical facilities (VAMC) and community-based outpatient clinics (CBOCS) within VISN 21. The scope includes expansion of current sites, completion of implementation already started, and new implementations.
The contract type is an Indefinite-Delivery-Indefinite-Quantity (IDIQ) with individual Task Orders issued on a performance-based Firm Fixed Price (FFP) basis. The ordering period is three years from the date of award.

Period of Performance
Individual orders will identify the period of performance applicable to the order. The period of performance for any task order may go up to 12 months beyond the last day of the ordering period.

Place of Performance
The place of performance shall be identified in individual Task Orders. Locations will be VISN 21 medical facilities detailed in the solicitation.
