VA Server Enterprise Endpoint Security (VASEES) RFI (VA-25-00011736)

Background
The Department of Veterans Affairs (VA), Office of Information & Technology (OIT), Infrastructure Operations (IO) is dedicated to delivering high-quality, effective, and efficient Information Technology (IT) services to support the care of Veterans. The VA requires a robust cybersecurity solution to protect all endpoints, ensuring compliance with industry standards and safeguarding critical server infrastructure.

This contract aims to deploy the VA Server Enterprise Endpoint Security (VASEES) system, which will provide host-based cybersecurity protection across the VA's IT systems.

Work Details
The Contractor shall provide all necessary resources to accomplish tasks including:
1. Deployment of the VASEES solution as a Software as a Service (SaaS) capable of supporting up to 750,000 clients;
2. Project management and contractor staffing plan;
3. Regular status updates;
4. Development of help desk scripts;
5. Training for VA personnel;
6. Operations and maintenance support;
7. Optional tasks for additional licenses and training as needed.

The Contractor must ensure compliance with various federal security regulations and maintain a FEDRAMP High rating throughout the lifecycle of the project. Specific deliverables include test plans, operational acceptance testing support, system design documentation, and standard operating procedures for ongoing operations.

Period of Performance
The base period of performance is twelve months from the date of award, with four additional twelve-month option periods available.

Place of Performance
The contract will be performed at multiple physical locations across the VA enterprise, including cloud environments such as Amazon Web Services (AWS) and Microsoft Azure.
