Q & As 36C25724Q0381 - CTX Cable & Internet 1. How many hospital beds in total does Central Texas VA have? Temple: Approx 800 TV connections Main Campus Approx 2 at Annex. Waco: Approx 300 TV connections.. Austin: Approx 126 TV connections .Killeen Approx 18 TV connections ..Cedar Park: Approx 20 Tv Connections. 2. Are you looking at complete Wi-Fi coverage for all facilities that could be managed centrally? Austin is currently Spectrum Managed. We would like to add the Temple annex to this. 3. Is the VA interested in a centrally managed content filtering firewall to protect the Guest network across all locations? Only system this currently applies to is the Austin Facility as Electronics has Wi-Fi in all other areas. 4. To ensure channel lineup consistency and functionality is the VA looking for a singular TV platform across all sites? Background
The Department of Veterans Affairs, Network Contracting Office 17, is soliciting offers for CTX Cable & Internet for the Central Texas VA Health Care System. The RFQ is an Unrestricted competition. All respondents must have an active registration in the System for Award Management at www.sam.gov. Interested SDVOSB must be listed as certified on the Veteran Small Business Certification (VetCert) located at Veteran Small Business Certification (sba.gov) in order to receive contract awards under the Veterans First Contracting Program.

Work Details
The Central Texas Veterans Health Care System is requesting a Base plus four (4) option years contract of Cable Television and Internet Service. The contractor will be responsible for all labor, materials, and equipment needed to perform this service. The facility needs this service to provide broadcast television and public Wi-Fi to the veterans at various locations in the Central Texas Veterans Health Care System. The contractor shall provide all personnel, services, vehicles, transportation, tools, equipment, materials, supplies, facility supervision, administration supervision and any other item(s) necessary to perform and accomplish this service. It is the sole responsibility of the contractor to meet the requirements of this project without any assistance from the Government. All equipment must be function tested and verified by COR/VA Team after contract award. All work must comply with federal, state, and local regulations.
