Maximo Application Suite Tradeup - New Task Order (VA-24-00068236)

Background
The Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) is seeking to procure a firm-fixed-price Delivery Order under the NASA Solutions for Enterprise-Wide Procurement (SEWP) V Government Wide Acquisition Contract (GWAC). The goal is to obtain brand name IBM Maximo Application Suite software upgrade subscription and technical support, which is critical for asset management and supply chain activities within the VA. This action is necessitated by IBM's End of Support for the current Maximo EAWM product as of September 30, 2025, requiring migration to the Cloud-based Maximo Application Suite (MAS).

Work Details
The contract will include the following tasks and services:

(1) Renew the current Maximo footprint at VA;
(2) Provide updates to the IBM MAS software in the VA Enterprise Cloud (VAEC);
(3) Sustain and support existing IBM Maximo sites;
(4) Sustain tracking of medical assets throughout the VA.

Technical support will encompass telephone and online assistance, access to fixes, feature packs, security alerts and patches, incremental enhancements, new releases, and new versions of the software. The renewal is essential for over 150,000 logistics and supply chain personnel who rely on this system for operational efficiency.

Period of Performance
12 months from January 1, 2025, through December 31, 2025.
