FSC Software Development Contract Extension Modification

Background
The Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) is seeking a four-month extension for the Financial Services Center (FSC) Software Development Services task order. This action is necessary to avoid a gap in service while transitioning to a new competitive contract. The VA's mission includes providing high-quality financial services for itself and other government agencies. This contract supports the necessary IT infrastructure and software engineering required for these services.

Work Details

The extension is crucial due to delays caused by a significant cybersecurity attack on Optum Change Healthcare Systems that disrupted operations essential for processing VA healthcare claims.
