Background
The Strategic Systems Programs (SSP) is conducting market research to identify potential sources capable of successfully performing SSP’s Systems Engineering and Integration requirements and interrelated efforts in support of United States TRIDENT II (D5) Strategic Weapons System (SWS) Program D5 Life Extension 2 (LE2) Strategic Systems Programs Alteration (SPALT). The contract type will be a Cost Plus Fixed Fee – Level of Effort (Term). The Period of Performance (POP) will be a base plus 2 option years beginning with Fiscal Year (FY) 25 through FY27 effort from 1 October 2024 – 30 September 2027.

Work Details
The contract requires subject matter expert support for the technical planning, requirements management and integration of SSP subsystems including interface with the COLUMBIA Common Missile Compartment (CMC); Systems Engineering; Configuration Management; Systems Requirements and Architecture Management; System Integration, Verification and Validation (IV&V); System Digital Integration; SWS System Security Engineering; SWS Safety Risk Management support; SWS System Test; SSP Infrastructure Operations (Model Based Engineering – MBE)/Information Systems (IS) Program Acquisition; Systems Engineering Support for MBE Environment Cybersecurity; Product Support Management.

The contract also requires a minimum of three years demonstrated weapon system experience in various areas such as System Security Engineering disciplines, Supply Chain Security and Risk Management, Hardware Assurance/Anti-Tamper Engineering Support, Software Assurance, Non-enterprise cybersecurity implementation, and more. The contract also involves providing Technical Information Technology (IT) Program Management and Data Management Services experience including Product Lifecycle Management, model based systems engineering, the ability to administer and configure COTS/GOTS software, and customizing solutions using custom software development.

Period of Performance
The Period of Performance (POP) will be a base plus 2 option years beginning with Fiscal Year (FY) 25 through FY27 effort from 1 October 2024 – 30 September 2027.

Place of Performance
220 Full Time Equivalent (FTE) personnel performing in Washington DC area. Approximately 10 FTEs will require a Top Secret (TS) /Sensitive Compartmentalized Information (TS/SCI).
