New Requirement. Base + 4 Option Years. This requirement is for the purchase of an annual pro-idiom cable TV subscription for 285 drop locations at the Coatesville VAMC. This is a logical follow-on to the installation of the pro-idiom system installed by Comcast at the Coatesville VAMC. Comcast s merger with NBC created an exclusive ownership of NBC Sports Philadelphia, a channel required by this requirement. Comcast has licensed NBC Sports Philadelphia to Verizon Fios, but Fios is not available in the geographic area of need. Comcast has completed the installation of the pro-idiom transmission system at the Coatesville VAMC and NCO 4 intends to sole source the cable TV transmission requirement to Comcast.
