Background
The Department of the Interior, United States Geological Survey (USGS) is responsible for maintaining the health and safety of Landsat 8 and Landsat 9 spacecrafts. The USGS operates under an existing International Agreement with Norway to procure polar ground station services necessary for satellite operations.
